Ice scratchers

A must have now a days, the snow is sometimes good up top, but icy or low snow on the way up to the snow, for the cost,I wouldn't run with out them.It a no brainer for around $50.

This is what some people have said about the scratchers that I produce. They definitely do work!

• I have 2 pr of scratchers from SummitSeeker, will order one more for the new sled, his scratchers are by far the BEST on the market, and I see alot of different kinds each season.....Keep up the excellent work SS

• Same here, I run Summitseekers and use them LOTS, I sled out west and they work and work very well!

• I only run mine on the trail but occasionally I forget to put them up before climbing or I'll hit a jump along side the trail. They've held up great, still look new after 1 year. These are summitseekers by the way.

• Don't need any because mine lasted all season!!!! Freakin' amazing. The other brand I had would last a 1/2 season. BTW I rode about 1500 miles last season and they were down probably 400 of that. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER HERE!!!

• I run them on 2.4 and 2.25 lug tracks and they work awesome. Kept both sleds cool and I got an extra 500 miles on the sliders!! These ice scratchers are by FAR the best.

Yes SS 's scratcher are by far the best lasting ones I've found. The only bad thing is that the guys that build them must be bored because they are like STRIKE gum, they last and last. I bought mine 2 or 3 years ago and I'm still running the first set,but I bought 3 pair figuring the'd only last half a season.
Nice to see some good quality stuff for respectable price, thanks SS.

Sled runs cooler, more responsive. I run a 08 Dragon 800 163 and I could not run that sled without them.

Sounds like a great product I need a set for my apex where can i get some?

Yes, they are a must for your sled, very important especially in low snow or spring ice conditions... just remember to watch them when backing up or when crossing obstacles:beer;

a definate must, you can leave them up for a few miles and then put them down, in rocke hard (spring like) snow conditions you will notice a 10-20 degree drop in engine temp

Thanks for the great word on my product Escape Time! I actually offer a three month warranty on breakage even if you do back up on them. Took a while before I found a spring steel that worked but doing it now for six seasons and they are still holding up great.

I have a prototype reversing scratcher and just waiting for snow to test it! The is the latest that I can remember not having snow:face-icon-small-fro

Another vote here for Summit Seekers scratchers. Kept mine down almost all of last season. Pavement, concrete, gravel, ice, jumping, carving, stumps, logs, and hidden propane tanks are no match for these scratchers.

Temp light goes off within 200ft with them down on hardpack. All the guys behind me say they can see the difference in spray when my scratchers are down. Definatly a must have for any big lug track.

I am going have to start paying you guys soon for advertising for me! LOL!

Just put the new version of the Slidekicks Reverse Compatible Ice Scratchers on my sled last weekend and have not had a chance to use them yet but they were easy to install. The design is simple and I think they will work pretty well especially for anyone in the midwest who rides in WI, MN or MI where snow is usually low and icy. I usually run my sled pretty hard so it will be interesting to see how they hold up. They also have replaceable carbide tips so we'll see how long a set of those last as well!

Do they actually work alright? i saw a pair on a sled the other day that were all "lazy" looking, didnt appear they would put any pressure down on water, nevermind scratch ice at all. Maybe they were just abused or something.

Ice Scratchers

I have been running SummitSeekers scratchers for 3 seasons now--still almost like new--I have even backed over them a couple of times and just bent them back--still working--and on my sled they are a must have for any sort of pack that I ride on. SummitSeeker is AWESOME to deal with and does quick delivery.
