I wish Honda would make us an EFI CR 500 with Electric start. Or KTM

Keep dreaming. Mfgs need 4 strokes to sell parts. Cheap 2 strokes wont cut it lol. KTM is the anomolly but they dont hold market share to make the jap bikes convert back to 2 stroke racing. Would be nice to have a 500 new gen with fuel injection. Add a little MRE love and u would have some great power !

How much would you guys spend on a 500 2T with E start and a decent stator on a dedicated Snowbike platform? I wonder if it could be done at 14K price tag. There is a lot of design and machine work but I don't see it unrealistic

I don't know about smart carbs, but I do know about efi. So for me it has to be efi and E start. I just keep talking about an efi, e start, 2 stroke 500 or a twin cylinder 600 in hopes someone will sick of me and make me one.

no point wshing for a 75 hp 500cc low vibe 8 speed two stroke efi dirt bike because king kong only buys one bike a year and no one else could ride a dirt bike like that.

We have to convince some company that they could make money on a complete snow bike with that kind of engine. The parts are there, the power is there, the light weight is there, the $$$$ isn't there yet. Small potatoes sport so far. Fun but obscure.

Whole package. Pulse induction and heated carb IMO would be fine. My CR500 pulsed started second kick first startup from a complete build, I was wearing my shoes even.

I think the best bet would be to convince cat to do it. They always like big hp sleds and they have the track kit.

Ski-doo 600 ETC about 120 hp stock, comes with optional estart. You just have to figure out how to drive the track
