I ride alone.

Wow, sounds like you need to ride with a deer tag more than anything else. Ever cooked up some backstrap in the muffpot after whacking one? I would. What are you riding, something electric that lets you sneak up on em? We seem to scare the crap out of everything where we ride. I'd be scared spitless to ride solo after hitting one, but that's just me.

If anyone has hit more than six deer while RIDING ALONE, please feel free to highjack this post.

Otherwise I appologize (again) for getting of topic, but these question just begged to be asked.

first deer was on a 1997 machz 780 drad racing my buddie down a road was going about 117mph and was tucked behind the winschield when all i seen was a flash and my winshield was gone and i felt a slight pull on my left shoulder well a doe was running full blast i didnt see it but my buddie behind me did[i was winning] it jumped over me and landed on him totalled his sled and bruised him up pretty good[he was riding a piped storm 800].hit some in fog in the middle of lakes at nite,on railroad beds on big sweeping turns,open fields that still have standing corn in them, and on trails that run along side thick woods. i think the sudden noise startles them, and they just start running in the direction they are pointed ,when startled. most of the time was always running 100+ and have little time to react other than duck.sounds kinda crazy,but it has saved my azz every time.

and its only been 2 deer when riding alone ,6 total.on sleds, 3 on my harley, and 3 with my truck. we have alot of deer in this state.killed only one on sled my friends storm did that, but my bike, and truck killed all 6 they hit, and the worst damage i did was bust a fender,and bend a brake roter on my ultra classic harley davidson/900#+ bike always won that battle.

ive had some weird luck like that, i have walked away from every bad accident ive been in, including 3 plane crashes,[im not a safe pilot,self tought arobatic]. if i were in an avy.[i hope it never happens]. id have 2 see what would happen.im sure my batteries would pop out in the ride down the hill.

eludnu you aren't very good at this and I'm going to ask you to stop. I know you are trying to mimic me and that is a very worthy goal, but I don't think you have the knack.

Kind of troubles me that Nate never rejected the offer to ride with him knowing this.

Be aware he doesn't speak for most Wyomingites. Most of us have more pride than that.

Well he lives in Idaho but you can come ride with us, I ride alone during the week quite a bit, I just dont do stupid shhit when im alone, like........climb steep hills and wonder the hell off. Hard to find partners during the week, so its fun to tune the old sled and what not

I ride alone most of the time. Where I live, if I waited for someone to ride with I would not get any miles on. I open the garage and go and just remember..your opinion is like a butt hole... it stinks and everyone has one.

P.S. Not directed at the original poster, as I read the other thread. Just the judging types.
