I ride alone.

I ride alone

And think that anyone who carries a shovel either in the pack OR the sled is a moron.....

This should be fun.

Then there are two possible replies to this:

Either you are a trail and road rider--which is great for you.

or you will DIE alone as well!!

H20SKE...

Oh, and if it helps to fire you all up, sometimes I ride wearing ONLY my beacon.

Cheers.

hmm, im confused, and I must ask, to clear things up and all.............when you say ONLY your beacon...........like..........thats it? Just your beacon?

I hope you dont ride the greater part of Idaho, if Sawyer knew that, he'd be all over your shhit

So apparently this azzhole thinks that death is funny and all those who've lost people they care about are fools. Well thats just great, aren't you just a funny BOY??? Idiot!!!

If you ride alone, you might want to make sure you have fresh batteries in that beacon. Might be a while before anyone goes looking for you.

Mtncrazy:

Sorry, but that wasn't the intent at all. You will note that I didn't let this go on for more that a couple posts. I appologize that my post was considered offensive. And Nate got it pretty quickly that it was meant in jest.

The real reason for this post frankly was due to the fact that a post requesting recommendations on a snowjack got quickly highjacked into a forum, (with much bashing) about riding alone. While I personally don't ride alone, I can understand where there are reasons why someone may feel compelled to do so. Say someone in Alaska, or the elder gentleman who rides alone who posted on that thread. I bet knowing that they are on there own they ride a bit more carefully as a result. And may even have some wisdom to impart as a result. Again, I'm sorry you were offended.

Breath, breath,.....

While I might not choose to ride alone, I do choose to ride informed, and freaking prepaired. (A search of my posts on the old forum would reveal this.)
Oh, and for the record, I ride with two shovels. One on the sled, and one in the pack..... But heaven forgive I start a post on that one.

And Nate, I'd ride with you on the pretext that Sawyer (never heard of him :D) is out of state.

Wow glad you to see you clear that up lol, for a few I was really wondering why sombodey would want to get bashed on as bad as it was looking like it was going to be.LOLOLOL[/QUOTE

Man did I want to let it run....

I called my mom and appologized to her too just to be safe.... (THAT'S A FREAKING JOKE GUYS!!!!)

i ride alone all the time, in the flat trails in wis,u.p, mi. because my friends dont have all the time to ride in the winter like i do.i havent had a breakdown but if so help is a cell phone call away. i average 3-4000 miles a year.

if i lived in the mountains, [which i ride every year once with a big group],i would always have a buddy, itsa a totally different riding experience. in wis.all you have to watch out for are the idiots[usually new riders] over shooting the corners.and in your lane. or all the deer.but they dont hurt that bad ive hit 6 so far, just usually duck, and they take the winshield off and thats about it.[deer]. note im 42 and have been riding since i was 5 and i easily have over 50,000 + miles on sleds. and will ride even if i cant walk.

i should mention i ride alot of test and tune on my own property, 200 ac, keeping my old sleds going, im usually doing this every day there is snow on the ground, as of 2 days ago we have none, went from 1-2ft and 10-20' out to 63 yesterday, and all mud! and thunderstorms with a freakn tornado.touch down[nice weather] so now im trailering 4 hrs north to ride at the cabin this wknd for 4 days, with the usual drinkn buddies on the lake racers[sleds]
