I need your help.......

I am running 5#'s of boost. No magic, just that the boost to octane is at a level that doesnt cause detonation. Pistons will last the same as long as you dont detonate. The only thing that might be better with the 1000, is it seems to be a little more detuned than the 800. I see posts on here that guys are running 86 octane fuel on the stock 1000's to get them to run right.



Damn, my sled barely hits 80 MPH, but it gets there in a hurry and pulls like a Mack truck uphill!! Guess I am clutched or geared a bit low. I think I could probably throw 5 grams of weight at it and get more top end, just running the stock weights and pulling a few more R's right now. :)

take a black marker to both inside clutch faces and draw a line, make sure they both shift to a optimal gear ratio.....i'm sure you already know this:beer;

a few more weeks will help decide on the camo 2.5 or the cat powder claw or whatever its called, the stronger lug on the 09 cat HMK or whatever looks to be a better track, wish they made a 162 or bigger:face-icon-small-dis

3 things i learnt today:
1. that fuel is im-port-tant to making your snoscoot go.
2. that rope thing that you pull on to start your slead it is cru-cial.
3. turbos are ev-il, takes all of the challenge out of getting from point a 2 b, and are only for sinners! repent soon or else.

How about lesson 1a. - If you know you are on fumes stop riding and get in front of the pack that way you can bum fuel off the dudes that showed up at half day :p

We better keep the 2 Rich's separated, With Max's "new" suspension & Chiefs propensity to catch fire I don't think those two should get together!
