i need help fast 08 engine removal

some how I broke a engine mount bracket on the mag side and Im going to try to heliarc it back together for a temp fix , I have a 3 day trip in 2 days and I cant seem to lift the engine up . it seems like there is something catching the motor on the pto side. I would like to lift the motor up high enough to take off the engine mount bracket if anyone knows how I would greatly appreciate it . thanks, Eric

ENGINE BRACKET REMOVAL

leave everything hooked up

Just remove

1) pipe

2) primary

3) airbox

4) 4 motor mount bolts and p.t.o. side engine limiter backed off

5) raise the engine up with pry bars and place some wood blocks under neath it and make it safe!

6) Leave everything else hooked up, coolant lines, fuel lines, wiring etc.

It's a real P.I.T.A. but now you can remove the 2 bolts from the bottom side of the engine case

I just did 1 of these in 2 1/2 hours start to finish and that's including slotting the bracket to "straighten" the engine out
