I need BIG boots!

Sorry guys, another boot thread, but I cannot find a boot in my size. I wear around a 14 street shoe, but everyone that I have talked to, says that there 14's fit more like 12's! Another thing, I have REALLY bad ankles, so the more support the better, actually, if my ankle just doesn't move at all, that's fine! Any big guys out there that can help me out with this? Thanks!

X2, My "little" bro uses HMK size 15, normally a 14 Nike. I'm pretty sure he said that some of the bigger sizes use the same outer, but just have different liners for different sizes. ?!? huh? I might try to put a 14 liner in my 13's.

I understand your problem I wear a size 15 street shoe and have a hard time finding boots. I wish the guys at HMK would make a size 16 and 17. I know of about 5-6 guys that would buy them, that i ride with.

Go on ebay get BATA MICKEY MOUSE BOOTS.

They run a little BIG. Meaning a size 10 is closer to an 11.

They are warm, confy and durabble.

I saw a pair of 14 extra wide selling for $33.00 delivered on ebay.

So try the Bata's for $30 or go for the $100+ boots.

Columbia makes big boots that go to 17 they are not specific to snowmobiling but they work for me. Bugaboo and the Bugaboo2. I think Cabelas has them??

i wear a size 14 street shoe and have an older pair of size 15 hmk boots and i can still wear a pair od wool socks with them if needed, but there ussually so warm i just wear normal cotton socks.

I really feel for you people with large feet, the mrs. oldest son (6'11") wears a size 20 and doc says he ain't done growin yet! Make's it tough find'in him any kind of footwear.:face-icon-small-sad

Holy Crap, das a big kid! Thanks for all the help guys, I didn't realise that HMK made a 15! I do kinda have a narrow foot, though, do they make them in narrow widths? Thanks.

I wear 15 street shoes and wear Irish Setter boots for sledding. They have great support and can use them for ice fishing and hunting as well. I got mine with like 1200 grams of Thinsulite, which keeps me warm with an extra pair of socks on.

Good luck!

Are you guts trolling for sled chicks, posting your shoe size:eek:

Hey, I also wear XXL gloves.;) I tried a pair of Ski-doo Baffin's today, they just didn't fit tight enough, take a step and they would fold up, maybe a cheaper snowboard boot is the way to go? I just have horrible ankles, they hurt all day, it's just that I want to limit that a little more so I can ride more than 1 day in a row! Was supposed to have surgery again in oct. until I saw the recovery time, told them to f-o and bump it to very late spring!:o

I wear 14 shoes and columbia titanium fit the same. I think they make them up to size 15 and narrow or wide widths. Best boot I've ever had. Fits like a hunting boot, lightweight, waterproof. They are rated to 60* below and have lasted 4 seasons and still are in very good condition.

I've been wearing Sorel Conquest's for about 5 years now, no signs of wear, great ankle support and arch support, warm, dry, most of the big catalog places have them and they are in the brand new Cabela's master catalog, mine were size 14 but I believe they are available in 15's, I highly recommed these boots.
