We have enjoyed the redneck jokes for years. It's time to take a reflective look at the core beliefs of a culture that values home, family, country and God. If I had to stand before a dozen terrorists who threaten my life, I'd choose a half dozen or so rednecks to back me up. Tire irons, squirrel guns and grit -- that's what rednecks are made of. I hope I am one of those. If you feel the same, pass this on to your redneck friends. Ya'll know who ya' are...

I agree with a lot of what you are saying. Especially the kids showing respect to elders. There are a lot a sassy little brats out there. Can't stand that. There is a real shortage of common decency in our society. Does anyone still hold the door open for other people? It usually slams in my face. Anyway, I'm agreeing, but I don't consider myself a red neck. That's what I was trying to say.

I do like your post. Next time I'll leave my red pen at home.

Angry white man suits me as well. I think it scares some people that some of us REDNECKS have college degrees...and we vote!

All the other things sound like someone just being a decent human being. I hold the door open for people, and it gets held open for me. As for people praying, ill respect what they are doing but wont take part....
