I know, another clutch question.

My 03 polaris vert escape 800 159", when I switch from forward and reverse and then take off the clutch makes a loud click noise, is this normal or should I be concerned.

A clunking noise is normal, when changing directions. The helix is shifting back and forth. If you change direction, and grab a hand full of throttle, the clunk will be louder!

What SD Coyote said. The reverse helix has a notch in it. When you switch to forward it clunks out of that notch.

It will also happen if you are crusing along and grab the brake and lock the track up and slide to a stop... then when you start forward again it will clunk. Normal.
