I joined the team as well.......

Avid drivers. 7 tooth if you're running stock tunnel and front heat exchanger. 8 tooth if you go aftermarket tunnel and remove the front heat exchanger.

Lots of options on the skids, I went with an EZryde. Definitely a camo extreme track. Either a 2.25" or 2.5" cut down to 2.25" lug.

Bar riser adapter for sure, unless you like the stock feel and stock height.

Turbo options: I went with MCX. Many other options out there. Just get it done one way or another.

Best of luck puttiner her together.

I saw guys in Gorman last week pulling lines on their TApex's that I've never seen done before....

there was a group of MCX guys and one Alpine. The Alpine one came down on the rope towed by an old Phazer. All the MCX ones were under their own steam.

just my observations. when i do it, it'll be MCX

Punisher, does the Maverick track suck that bad? Mountain tamer rear suspension is on way, not planning on lengthening the skid. I still see the need for the drivers, but what is so bad with the track?

Haven't rode with the maverick on my sled, but my cousin's apex that he rides here locally sucks terribly with the maverick. Today he had an awesome time with the track do to the bottomless powder, but for our normal conditions the track is too soft and the paddles bend over. You can try the old trick of flipping it around. Once again, never tried it but everyone one here that has, suggests it. You should be able to pick up a 153 camo from some Arctic Cat guy on here trying to upgrade. There were tons of them a few months ago. You might even consider a 162 since you have a new suspension on the way. You can pick up rails from ICE AGE manufacturing for very reasonable . That way you can run a 162 camo. It is only 4.5" of surface contact more than the 153 track.

The maverick looks just like the one on my old RMK (the all time greatest back up sled 03 700 rmk). I guess if I don't end up liking it then out with the old and in with the CE. I tell you, you can tell the difference just putting this sled on the deck. Can't wait to get it into the snow this weekend. Most of my riding buddies are going to Superior til Sunday, hopefully I will get to meet up with them for a nice pull.
