Barking dogs! Now, my neighbors dog is barking. Do I tell him (hes' not home, or he wouldn't be barking), or make a random complaint to the homeowners association? I have two dogs, and have told my neighbors if they bark, let me know and I will put a stop to it.

Do what I do. Go fire up the 450 Honda with tail pipe pointed right at his house. Make sure you put ear muffs on, neil over the bike and stare intentley at the carb area as if you are working on it so you don't look like a complete lunatic. Wrap it up about ten times. If the neighbor doesn't sprint out to let his dogs in the door they will make their own to get in. haha

I like what Mule says... My dogs barked for awhile and none of my neighbors would come talk to me about it. I never knew they were barking bcuz I was always gone when they were doing it. Bark collars solved it

Ditto Woodzy. I've heard my dog bark about a half dozen times. I come home one day and there is a note on the door that my dog has been barking all day. News to me. Got him a bark collar and checked with the neighbors a few days later, problem solved.
Talk to the guy, he may not know. I would have appreciated a face to face converstation, but whatever, the note worked.

Always try talking to him first. I had a neighbor with two labs that barked all day. I was working graveyard shift and it was screwing with my sleep pretty bad. The guy had no idea. He was work during the day. He started kenneling them in his garage. Problem solved. I'd drink a beer with him every now and then after that.

I feel your pain man I have called my neighbor about his 2 dogs at 12.00am before because they kept waking up my newborn son, they would yell at them for a while but its back to the same crap now. Its really rediculous because its ALL day and night and they just act like they dont hear it. Wal-mart sells a bird house that senses barking then sends out a noise only dogs can hear that seems to work but only good for like a 50ft range.

I have an 8mo old chock lab pup that chewed through his own bark collar...don't ask me how. I hate barking dogs more than anyone...and my own dogs bark. I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
