"i saved up my money" This is the best part of the post! Good for You!

Parents take note...
You don't have to buy your kid a new sled.
Help them buy one that THEY can afford!

That is an awsome sled.
We put 6000 miles on that sled with ZERO problems.
As your talent grows that sled will grow with ya.

Congrats.

yep, im happy i saved up for it myself, it makes me appreciate it more,

Ive never rode an rmk 700, ive rode a rmk 800, for a short ride a srx 700. and a 06 summit x 800 with a 151".

Thats what my parents did...ended up that I had to wait until I was done with high school to get a mountain sled...really made it worth it, and I think I appreciated it much more when I was on the mountain with what I had "worked" for. Now it's time to start savin money for GAS my friend, and slight mods lol. Welcome to the addiction, sled smart, sled safe!!!

Congrats on the new ride.....You'll appreciate it even more because you earned it. You made a good choice too......Lots of aftermarket parts are available for it, so you can add stuff as your riding skills progress. There's a wealth of knowledge over in the Polaris section, and folks seem more than willing to offer advice with tips, tricks, and maintenance stuff.

Enjoy.......:)

on all the polaris's ive ever seen the on position is you put the key into it and turn it to the right(clockwise) and she should be pull and go

i remember my first sled, i bought my dads old 78 ford from him and traded it for a 74 TNT 440 and some other stuff.

i rode the hell out of that thing, thats what i shattered my finger on i did alot of work to it and in the end had alot of fun.

If you want to WAKE that sled up,
put an slp single and can on it.
V-force 3 reed
air horn

As for the key switch I think that sled had a high/low octane switch. Low being positon one and high being position 2.

To be honest, just leave it stock and ride the dog snot out of it.

Sure, ill take some pictures tomorrow hopefully, sadly, it doesnt have reverse so i have to pull it out of the shop to take some pictures. And i feel bad starting it up and shutting it off, without letting it run for a little bit.
