I feel sorry for anyone NOT riding a turbo Yamaha 4 stroke.

Ok Veedy I watched your boost movies, drooled at the turbo yammi's and finally bit the bullet this summer and bought boost (already was smart enough to drive a yamaha). Now I have nothing but problems, I can't stop grinning and giggling under my helmet (dam good the 2 smokers i ride with make so much ****ing noise and cant hear me) and I now realize that my balls are way too small for my snowmobile. I will probably be forced to either sell it or dare I say add more boost to compensate for my lack of testicle size. Thanks for spreading the Yamaha Turbo propaganda. NO really thanks LOL.

So do u guys with boost ever find any thing challenging ? I mean with all the power and a decent track...Ive seen some boosted sleds and theres not much that challenges them in my mind. Dino

Look out Veedy, Papa might cut you outa the will
Without our forefather's who came before us poisoning the environment with their stinky dinosaur burner's we would have too many tree's in the alpine areas
Imagine a few tree's in the Monster or the 90 or god forbid all over Turbo!!
We need to pay homage to those smelly rolling nightmares, after all, they make the old people remember the good old day's

It's true. I do.

You poor saps still pulling their cord, riding away in a cloud of noxious smoke. It's just not fair. Everyone deserves a yammy turbo.

YAMAHA : Build a factory turbo 4 stroke. And not one that is governed, or only spools a measly 6 psi . We the masses want raw horsepower between our legs. Don't dick around. Let's put these 2 smokers to bed once and for all. Like they say, build it and they will come. ( literally ) I know I do every time I squeeze the trigger on my blown 4 banger. Damn I love BOOST.
:beer;:D

I'm quite literally debating buying the last 2009 Apex Mtn off the showroom floor at the local Yamaha dealer or ..... a house.

So far I think I am leaning towards the Apex :o

You're all a bunch of turbo snobs:)

I have a light weighted non-boosted Nytro with Excell exhaust and a camo extreme track. I totally love the sled and it takes me everywhere I want to go. I am really impressed so far.

Do I want boost? For sure! But... I think I'd try to be like the guys in Veedy's movies and I lack the skill so I would likely crash and burn. It would sure be fun while it lasted though.

same here iv been on cat 2 strokes forever had an 07 m1000 1300miles crank went i took the plunge and bought a nytro every buddy said i was stupid buying a heavy 4stroke and now all my riding buddies r buying nytros after riding mine on boost :D

So i take it you like the hi jacker? Got any pictures of it mounted on your sled?

never notice it there, only used it once(priceles):D i'm lazy and fat:beer;

I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't have one of each, because sometimes, all the horsepower in the world ain't gonna get you there, it's all about manueverability.

That's why I have a boosted Nytro and a stock Doo-Doo.

In some ways I agree with you. When I bought my Apex, I turbo'd it right away.... :cool: rode it for a season then sold it and bought a stock nytro. Rode it for the first season bone stock. With a huge diet and a different track and skies, it would have been a super fun buggy and the most reliable sled ever built. Took the plunge and slapped a turbo on it this year, and :eek:

The moral of the story is that the four strokes are becoming the most reliable, fun , most powerful sled on the snow today. Since I have started making films about turbo four stroke sleds, I have seen the numbers rise exponentially. BIS 2005 there were a handful of 4strokes, BIS 2009 there was close to 35% four stroke Yamaha's show up, most were boosted. I like to think that I played a part in getting the " word " out.

I love my four stroke. I will never pull a cord again. Let premix become the next 8 track tape. :beer;

WORD!!!!:cool:I vote Veedy for President of the world cuz he speak the truth. Yamahas are dope.:beer;:beer;:beer;:beer;

I have an Apex with EZ Ryde, Extreme track, new drivers, and a Boss seat, all that in preperation for the eventual boost. How much more fun is it with boost, seriously, lay it on thick.

Let's put it this way..... bring a towel.... and it's not for the sweat. :beer;

There are soooo many comebacks to this its tough to decide...LOL
Throw a leg over a boosted Apex and you wont be able to get yours to the shop fast enough.........:)
Your almost there, just one more biiiiggg step - come on you can do it.....LOL

anyone got any video of someone doing technical riding with a yamaha turbo? i've never seen it.

Yeah, you can go buy boost, mountain mod mania, or any other movie featuring these sleds, if you do not think chute climbing is (technical) than you need to go stand at the top of Irmens arm, gibbs Gash, or any other chute in Revy. Its not just holding the throttle wide open on an open faced hill.

Dreams and wishes

When I think of high horse power, reliable, dream sled I think of a supercharged Apex with a 174". I still think I would wanna try a M1200 Turbo turning a 174" before I get into the 4 stroke thing. I feel sorry for anyone who does not have boost (myself included), 2 or 4 stroke. I can't wait till my snow flap says "Got Boost?", but until that day comes I'll wish I was Veedy.

Veedy what the hell are you doing on the internet ? Don't you have some editing or filming to do ?:beer; Boost 4 isn't going to make itself.

By the way I don't need boost, the biggest hill where I live is the ramp in my trailer:rolleyes:
