The plus side in this, is that your going to save a lot of money. 1 sled for a couple hundred, and you'll never have to replace it again. I don't see any of the companies going back to the 80's, and 90's for sled technology again.

We had a pair of black Liquifires.
One thing I can say about them...they used DAMN good starting ropes.
Once you got past the first 100 pulls...they were AWESOME to ride.
So would you say they were as fun as the new stuff?
The funnest sled I've ever ridden was a John Deere Sportfire. I like the low, close to the ground rider position and light mass weight of those sleds. There's something about being closer to the snow that makes it more fun for me.
The newer sleds are narrow, but also higher off the ground which to me is counter intuitive.
What should I do?
Buy on of these and go enjoy the good ole days !!

Have you spent any time on a Polaris Edge, low seat, decent bars, very stable. I've spent the last two years on a Pro and everytime I get on the old edge I can't help but smile. The old Edge eats up the whoops 10X better than the Pro and when in a steep gnarly downhill I can ride the Edge with my eyes closed and hands off the bars, I have to ride the sh!t out of the Pro and hope I make it out the bottom in one piece.
