I bought a couple of hang scales and.........

So far I've weighed my King Cat and my old 2002 Powder Special 600. I was surprised. My King Cat with some reductions was 500# no gas and the stock Powder Special was 560#with no gas. The King at 1000cc and a 162''x 2.5'' track and the PS with a 600 and only a 136''x 2''. These are ready to ride less the varible, the gas.

Snow west back in March of '04 weighed the KK at 508# w/o gas, And 588# ready to ride. Remember there is water and oil in it, About 12 extra lbs. for the two. How many mods are we talking, I would assume pipe and lightweight can at the least!

What kind of scale and where did you get them. I wouldn't mind getting one if they don't cost an arm and a leg

That funny because when the powder special 600 frist came out in 98 Arctic Cat was claiming 486 Lbs dry. Looks like they were off by a little bit.

I bought them at Northern Tool

They are for weighing dead deer etc. They only go to 500# so I bought two so we can weigh my buddies Turbo Nitro. LoL. I hope that's enough.
Today I'll weigh my wife's '09 M-8 Sno-Pro. It's totally stock. I'm guessing 475#

Thanks....I would say that will be pretty close with all fluids and no gas.

Broke that cheap scale. It was off

The Powder Special actually weighed 560#. I'm going to edit the original post. This sled does have mech reverse.

Broke that cheap scale? It was off? The twins on the KK would save about 3 lbs. if separate mufflers, But the 16" track would add back about 10 lbs. So not too bad in the end!
