I am a raging alcoholic

I know each person is entitled to their own fun. And so long as you know what's coming that's the beauty in the freedom of choice we have in this amazing (despite at times being frustrating) country. Liver failure is a sad way to go. Painful to watch, painful to die from, and far too frequent a concern.

Take care of yourselves while you have fun...

haha...you fella's that are responding seriously to his fishing are cracking me up...!!!!..

speaking of crack...i will be back...

What are you talking about magic? I figure a forum is the best place to find advice on pathology.

Perhaps we can discuss your crack addiction. I have heard that stuff can be pretty bad..........a$$

i was refering to my butt crack...it was telling me the o'henry bar wanted some daylight..

Daily After work: 3 to 4 Coors lights with a Black Velvet Cloudy

Tying 1 on: Tequila chilled over ice taken as shots without salad bar,
Coors as chaser

Treemagnet has a very valid point. I watched my father die from liver failure at the age of 57. He was the typical come home from work and drink several Windsors with ginger ale each night - every night.

You said raging!

I was a raging alcoholic. I smashed sh!t and would fight constantly! Thats raging. I had to quit before I ended up killing someone or myself. I agree you're an alcoholic, but it doesn't sound like you're a raging alcoholic. If you beat the sh!t outta your wife and kids, then you could call yourself raging. Never got to that point for me, I quit before it got that bad.

My dads a raging alcoholic

And he's more active than most people and with a clean bill of health at 77. He came to the bar a few years ago and said he had told his doctor off. Then months later he said he was happy with his new doctor saying it was ok to toss down a few daily. Is it noon yet sh!t ya it is somewhere. I myself out in the mountains like a cold beer topped off with a little crown or maybe a snort of fireball. Saddle up

Yes you're a raging alcoholic. Get your **** together and stop being a nimby.

I would answer this way:

It may not be how much you are drinking but rather, why you are drinking so much.

POWDR do what makes you feel good, to he11 with those whom
try to impress there values on you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Values??? I'm not so certain its an issue of values. You cannot drink to excess, I understand the term excess is a broad term, without causing damage to your body. Unfortunately, the more we age the more vulnerable the body is. Lets face it, if your excercising, working out and trying to be fit to keep the ability to drink alot often. Then its pretty likely you have a problem.
POWDR, kudos to you for seeking opinions and advice. Acknowledging there is a problem is the first step in correcting it. The body is an amazing piece of machinery. However, its only gonna hold up so long. I think you need to look around you and assess your responsibilities, wife/gf/kids/parents and whatnot. If non of those responsibilities have much meaning to ...... by all means drink it up.

It all depends on the quality of your drink of choice.

For example:
If you're drinking Crown it's you may be fine, however it's not normal to enjoy drinking "Lord Calvert" that much.
The fact that you're drinking IPA instead of Coors Light is certainly a good sign.

Cheap booze is for the alcoholics.

I would say you not an alcoholic till you go to meetings until then its just speculation. If you can function at work and other social situations without it, hey to each his own that is the beauty of this great country, if that's what you enjoy at the end of the day in the privacy of your home good for you
cheers
