I-500 updates

well from what i hear, there wasn't a spotter there on Sat. and the only reason someone was there on sunday was cause there was abunch of tracks on the river from sat. so afew people were cutting course there... davidson and wilson must of been the only ones cutting there on sunday. Alot of people cut course on big races like this. Both davidson and wilson are around the area of the I5 so they know the area

I say the first guy to run through the unmarked snow is the biggest offender, (some of you may not agree), blatant cheating. You could argue that everyone else was knowingly cheating also, (I wasn't there to see how the course was marked in this section), but when you get to this section and see tracks on the smooth river you must think hey these guys are making serious time on me here. Now if no one is there policing you'd think hey I didn't lose time to anyone here. Anyway it doesn't take away from the fact that Dyrdahl completely annihilated the competition. There has been course cutting since the first XC race ever ran. Bull**** move though, Davidson should know better with all his experience, I'm glad he got tossed. Thumbs up to the USCC for enforcing their rules. Maybe he was still pissed because DJ Ekre took his snow flap off, lol.:D

oh the i5 had many many many 3'-5' foot mogals, and some of the places these guys were getting on and off the river, the bank of the river was 10-12 feet... The guys that cut course must know the track, cause how would you know where to get off, and if you CAN get back onto the track.???
