Hydrogen boost for fuel economy question

So does anyone have any experience with the Hydro 4000 water seperation unit for improving fuel milege up to 60% ? I am thinking about trying one and would like to hear some real world experiences.

My guess is it's really nothing more than a water injection unit.

If you get one, make sure you monitor your gas usage for some time, before installing it. I'd like to know if you gas mileage actually increases.

The only way I can see it improving gas mileage, is if you had a bank of batteries in the trunk, to power this thing.

dang.. I gotta try that bad boy out. Hell, I spent 1200 on my truck to try and gain 5mpg. to gain 60% would be an awesome investment if it works,..

They used to have a water injector back in the 70's and early 80's that you could put in. They found that it did increase fuel milage, but only about 5-10%. The way it worked was that the water would vapourize and since steam expands more than the explosion of fuel it would mean less fuel for the same energy.

There are about 6 different units that I have looked at that claim to increase fuel milage anywhere from 30-85%. I figured if any of them were true, we would have heard about it because they would have been screaming from the rafters.
