I have been reading for a while about ceramics (mostly the hybrids for extreme use) in the bicycle, motocycle, fishing reel etc etc, and obviously everywhere they are making a decent impact, it has me thinking about trying them out on my sled.
I realise bearing quality and getting the correct bearings, maintaining them are all extremely important, but one of our battles with sleds also tends to be efficiency and getting it to the track/snow, exactly where the hybrids shine.
As it is now i know we dont get the very best in quality bearings from polaris or any other mfg, Has anyone tryed using these high tech toys in the sled world?
Crankshaft, Jackjack and bogeys, i feel like we may have something to gain here. i dont mind being the test mule if no one else has yet
