Hunt drawings are hitting the credit cards

If you put in for a Utah tag you might want to check your credit card as the drawing money is starting to come out.

My 2 kids and I drew muzzleloader deer tags and one of the drew the Youth Elk Any Bull tag.

A buddy of mine at work drew a Limited Entry Expo
And a Limited Entry Wasatch, both archery Elk.

Poor sucka gotta give one up.

I am watching mine closely and so far a no go. I will be shocked if I don't draw the wasatch archery elk.

Wasatch archery elk? Where is that? I'm shooting for the NW corner of CO (basically a few miles from Vernal). 400 class bulls. Takes at least 12 points to draw here.

Also trying for Moose and Bighorn in the next few years. Somebody won't be going to work for a month.

The wasatch is a pretty good sized area that goes from about parleys down to spanish fork canyon and over to strawberry. Lot's of country and lot's of good bulls. I know of a bunch of 370+ bulls that have been taken over the last couple of years.

No quite as good as they were last year, but should be goon none the less. You should still catch the tail end of the rut. Should be a fun summer scouting and all.

Yea, that make 2 of us.

But my second choice is the hunt across the border from the Book Cliffs.

2ball drew that last year and had a great hunt.
