Huckfest 3.0 Details

Hi Guys!

Huckfest 3.0 will be this weekend May 7th and 8th starting at 10:00am on Saturday. The boys will be out pushing snow all this week building all the features.

Here is a little press release...

"Huckfest is an amazing Alpine Assassins (www.alpineassassins.com) event put on each year to showcase the incredible jumping, riding, and lifestyle of hanging out in spring conditions on a snowmobile !!! This is a family event, so throw Mom on a sled, ride out to the venue (see poster for details), and enjoy the festivities!!! If you need a rental sled, please call Full Throttle Tahoe at 530-546-8774 for a reservation (first come first serve)."

Lots of raffle prizes from HMK, Full Throttle Tahoe, Thin Air Motorsports, 509, and more!!!! Proceeds from raffle items go directly to Grant Korgan and his ongoing recovery efforts. A great cause!

Same format as last year...freestyle course, drags, and flat track racing.

Hope to see you all there!

The Main Road

Steve:

Is there a lot of blacktop starting to show from the Indy Lake turnoff on in to Webber? Was wondering if the FS was going to plow the road to the Perrazzo turnoff by this weekend.

Ramp looks great!

Up Date Day Four

Every thing went great today. I went to town today and the road is plowed to the Independence turn off. There is some pavement but not too bad. Just for the first 1/4 mile. After that it is good. No, they are not going to plow the road to Perrazzo before this weekend. I road the track tonight just a little and it is going to be sick.

Huckfest 3.0 moving locations....down the road!

Huckfest 3.0 will not be held this year at the "Usual" location. The propper insuance documents were not completed in time and thus the location must be moved...to where it originated, in the Backcountry! The BBQ, Demo Sleds, and Raffle Items will still be there and along with the good people and big hucks off natural hits!

The new location will be approximately 2.0 miles west of the original site, look for the signs....and people!

I know of about 20 or so folks that are still coming Track Man, looking forward to meeting you. As much as I wanted to gap the 100' .... I guess it will just have to wait? lol

Thank you TrackMan for the use of your back yard. It was the first time for My hubby, daughter and myself and we all had a blast. My girl loved kickin butt drag raceing. Next year I have to remember SUNSCREEN!

I had a good time watching all the festivities. Got to see lots of snowmobiling buddies all in one spot. Good food! Fun raffle! I enjoyed the impromptu drag racing a lot.

My hat is off to all the hard work getting it done.

The finale of the backward flip with a sled was impressive to say the least.

Steve:

Nice meeting you and shootin' the s***. Great turnout and event. Hope your garage survives the rising water table.

Oh, and Jones Valley was damm nice.

Later.

I had no idea that this event took place every year. I found out about it yesterday when peruzing through the forum. I told my wife about it yesterday afternoon and she said "Why the hell aren't we going?".
Would have been fun to bring the pro turbo up, I'll look for it next year.

I can't believe after all week of hard work Ken And Duncan did, then sinking the snocat we made it happen. 20 small trees and 2 hours later the snocat came out. I want to thank the Alpine Assassins crew and all of you that showed up . This was a great time. We all need to get together next year and do this more often. Thank again everyone.

that was matt from yuba city on a yammi, I was riding tonysno's 800. I punctured the track on mine the day before so it got to sit and watch.
There was another turbo up there a polaris, I didnt get a chance to run against him. Maybe next year!
had a great time !!!
