Installed the can on my Pro. Sounds great and is way lighter than the stocker. Hps does a nice job on their manufacturing of this part.

Looks sweet!! Wanted to grab one in Edm at the snow-show but had no visa machine at the booth lol. Guess have to ship one in with a PA head!!

Ya Troy, how bout you put the stocker back on and video the sound and then put on the new can, so we have a before and after....LOL

Sorry Larry. The only time the stocker is going back on is if it goes in for warrenty work. Hopefully never again!!

I had a chance to talk to Scott (owner of HPS) at the SLC show...and check out the construction of the HPS . His silencers are very high quality construction.

Do we have any numbers that speak to a plus or minus on the back pressure. This will affect the engine if it's not darn near stock. Remember with the pro it won't adjust off of the stock timing, fuel, etc, except for altitude and air pressure. Appreciate any input.

I would give Scott a call at HPS. I would like to know that also now that you brought it up. Keep us posted.

guys keep in mind the 2012 is a slightly different fit. HPS identified this a month ago I believe.

A 2011 will work on a 2012, just won't fit as good as it should. I did hear that a 1/2" spacer on the rear mount will make it fit right, haven't checked this yet though.

Is this what you were talking about? SLP vs HPS spacer fitment for '12's? I'm expecting my HPS can any day and will see what I find.

'12 800 SLP Pipe and Silencer Fitment

So I have a 11 rmk and just got my hps can does that mean it was made for a 12? And what did they change?
