Hows the Snow on Cameron Pass

Thanks Bushy, Good to here Were Headed up this weekend
Is there good parking for a big four place on the Gould side?

Theres a few wide spots along the road they plow, but they're small and fill up fast. I think the next spot it's "legal" to ride out of is down by Gould. Take a left at the Drifter bar and you'll run into the big, main parking lot. I heard the trail system is closed running south towards Grand Lake due to logging or some baloney. That leaves you American Lakes back to the East, or the North side of the highway in the State Park. We're headed up there Sunday. Couple of XP's, a black 660 poo, and black M with green skis and orange pan.

Nice Video/Snow! How do you like that new Etec XP? Seems like it does pretty good! I love mine!:face-icon-small-hap

Just around 105 miles on it or so, really took a couple days to get used to it compared to my Dragon. I wasn't excited about getting a new sled after bending my crank and not looking forward to not being able to ride at my normal level. After the second day, I was really liking it. I'm really starting to love it. The power is awesome, loving the fact that getting unstuck is so much easier with it. Yesterday I felt really comfortable picking lines in the trees, not 100% yet but, pretty good.

Set up solid and wind blown. Some good times climbing superman snow and still fluffy in the trees :)

Skibreeze getting used to the new sled.

it was a bit chunky in spots.......

That whole hill you sidehilled on the way up I came into a sidehill from the top of it last April and the whole thing slid on me. Biggest slide I've seen up at A Lakes. I hit the bottom 2ft fracture like a $hit ton of bricks and launched out of it. 6ft + deep at the run-out. Of course Bushy rolled up not 10 minutes later!

Definitely BIG country up there....Bushy told me about meeting you guys at the bottom of that slide.

Everything was pretty solid and set up that day though....but you always gotta be thinking in the back of your mind.

What direction from Gould is this?
American lakes? North of 14? South of 14?

So it's the American Lakes area? For some reason I thought that area was pretty small/limited due to the wilderness boundary....
