I did a search guys and nothing came up. So im sure some of ya guys tried the new m8 last year when it was doing its demo rounds and got to compare. I would like to hear some of your thoughts. The 2010 sounds like a wicked sled from the reading up ive done on it, but is it worth the extra money?? Thanks:beer;

Its hard to tell since those werent the production sleds. Almost everyone that rode them thought the 2010 had more power though. In a couple more weeks we will know for sure!

i have a 2010 M8 153 have never rode a 09 153 but have rode a 162 my boss and good riding buddy has one we got some pretty good snow last week so we were out alley bashin and got to do some tree riding down by the river the snow was deep in the trees about 3-4 ft set up good but had about 8 inches soft powder on top we pounded on a little hill till there was no snow left on it tons of fun i couldnt even hardly stand up by the time we were done so much fun anyway he rode mine for about 1\2 hour and when we traded back he told me mine had way more power his also has a ypipe and the thing can mine is bone stock with 20 or so miles

When I worked for A.C. I talked to some of the guys who designed the 2010 engine and they said this is the most fun they have had building an engine. They said people will be very impressed with the performance of this sled compared to the 2009. They showed us some comparisons of lake trials from the 2009 to the 2010 and the results were impressive.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with

Jeff

I ride an 09 M8 Sno Pro and I got the chance to ride the 10 M8 Sno Pro at the end of last season. Only had a little time on it but you can definately feel the power difference. The ride feels pretty similar with the exception of the seat. The 10 has a more torquey feel to it when you get on the throttle. Still love my 09, it works damn good. You ll be happy with either sled thats for sure.

Louie I wasn't expecting to see you lurken in the AC section! You still keeping the beast? I picked up an 09 M8sp 153":D

You bet I'm keeping the beast but ill have the best of both worlds with this sled.This is Pams Christmas present lol I think the m8 is the best two stoke going right now with the reading ive done on it. I just hope this new motor is going to be tough like the previous years,its pumping out some big power for a two stoke twin. What do you think of the all black??

can't wait to see one on the hill, want to put my "slightly modded" 07 against one and see just what i'm missing!!!

Yup that's my plan as well, I'm doing it backwards though. Turbo back in the stable next year;) I LOVE the all black, that's the route I would go for sure!:beer;

the all black is sno check only have finding one now they do have way more power i cant wait to put mine up against my buddies modded 09 that will bet the test cause his runs way better than the stock 09s

Same here, i have an 07 m8 that i bot for my dad to ride, i have a mod sled that is fun for highmarking but these m's are awesome. hope my slightly modded m will hang, or darnit will have to get my dad a new one. cheers....

I rode a demo 2010 M8 162 sno pro last spring. AWESOME. It was dead even with my m1000 every time up the mountain. Great power and much less weight.

What would you guys do? I have to decide if I should go with a demo 2010 M8 or a brand new 2009? I should put a cpc kit on it and don't know if I dare to go with the 2010? The 2009 motor seems to be bulletprof but it would be fun to do a 2010.. Help me out!
