Took a trip east last weekend for a wedding in the mountains and brought the mountain goats along to get a few days of riding in. I expected a sub-par January snowfall like Utah is having. To my surprise it was slightly overcast to bluebird everyday with 8-12 inches falling every other night. Their snotel was reading close to 130" base and everywhere we probed to check it was over 11 FT deep. Didn't have to use the hidden spots or poke in the trees to find the goods, it was everywhere. Hope Sunday night's storm brings us some fresh cause it was sure difficult coming back east. Put together some footage of snowboarding and sledding. Check it out if you want. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAWt0pJK8yU
