How will a dented SLP pipe be affected???

Here are the pics. Took a while to take them, then I topped it off taking them on my blackberry and used a Canadian loonie for reference... perfect.

What do you guys think? Still no response from the seller.

The item is also insured up to $499usd. Any advise dealing with USPS and claims?

I also have a few decent scratches and dents on the can too, from the y pipe resting on it.

You payed for a new pipe, so IMO, you should receive a new pipe or a discount for that one.
If you are not worried about cosmetics, just run it, you will not have any ill effects from that small of a ding.

Fill it with water and freeze it. Works great i hae done it many times on bike pipes.

Won't this expand the entire pipe? Or at least try to?
