How to trademark a logo and is it worth it???

So has anyone ever trademarked there logo and is it even worth going through a trademark lawyer and the $350 it takes to file the papers through the system???

Is so how much did it cost you total and would you do it again???

Yes and no, if you spend the money to trademark it you must spend the money to defend that trademark every time it is infringed upon. If it's a logo you may want to start with a copyright. I am in no way an expert but have copyrighted some graphics and it wasn't that hard, and I did all the paperwork and filing on my own.

Be careful. Not very smart on this, but all I can say is be careful on what you are doing. This my be a damn goog thing.

Yes

You should trademark your logo if it's distinctive and especially if it is something that will grow in the future. I would start the trademark paperwork....if you end up having someone take your work it's very hard to have a leg to stand on if you don't do anything about it. http://www.uspto.gov/
Also, do your own homework before going to hire a lawyer...you may have something that is too similar to an existing trademark. there are databases on the USPTO website.
