How to set skid back???

I've been told you can set the skid back a bit on the rev. Can someone please explain. Do you need to drill new holes or what?

i basically run with a used to be mxz, and the skid was way forward on the tunnel. i turned it into a summit basically with a 151x16 wide, and i moved it back for a better approach angle. if you look on your drop bracket deals where your rear part of the skid bolts to the tunnel you will see where the bolt is, and there should be like your main hole for the bolt and 2 others you can drill out. i drilled mine out in the middle hole. it was in the far forward one. and just measure how far back you moved those holes and drill new ones at the same distance back in the front part of the tunnel.

I went from a 159 to a 163 and used the 159 rails. First I got a piece of strap steel and drilled holes so it would bolt into the front and rear mounts. Then, I drilled a hole in the front bracket 2" back. Then I cut the stock, rear brackets off the tunnel. (which was the biggest pain in the a$$ EVER!) and replaced them with some Van Amberg drop brackets, using the strap steel to measure and keep the distance between the front and rear bolts the same. Just test fitted it tonight, i think shes gonna be a ripper!
