how to repair my KLIM boots???

If you're worried about the appearance, then get them fixed...the rubber coating is just for looks.

Mine have been like that almost since day one...going on my 3rd season with them and they look like they've been through battle...still waterproof (stepped in a creek earlier this year and dry as a bone).

ditto, mine look ruff on the toe but still work.

as for how it happens like someone asked, i know the first couple was my fault cuz one morning before a ride i wasnt thinkin and kicked the bottom of the running board to break up the ice. as for the rest of the nicks i couldn't tell ya, they just showed up.

Hi I also have had the same problem of a slice on the left boot toe top on the second use of the boots( first use half a day ride to check out sled before Christmas holiday). I have an old pair of Baffin boots that I have used for about 8 years on the same sleds and nothing even close to any cuts, but they are not too waterproof. Reading this thread and from my experience and having my dealer going to contact to see about warranty, I think there is a problem with the quality of the materials used on the toe piece. If Klim doesn't warranty my boots I will be asking questions to Klim because of the way they advertise their products. Snowmobiling clothing for riders made by riders, this would seem to indicate they should know the conditions their products will be exposed to and how they justify the pricing of their products I am supposed to here back on Tuesday and I will make another post. Maybe we should all be contacting Klim and voicing these concerns.

I couldnt agree more. I think Klim should really step up with this type of thing. Here are some pictures of mine that I got about half a season out of. I wasnt even kicking snow out of the running boards that much. Just agressive riding. These are supposed to be high end boots. I assumed that is why we pay the premium price for them? Just to give a comparison..........I replaced these with a 50 dollar pair of airwalk snowboard boots. Been using them all season and they still look like new. Just as warm, dry, and comfortable too.

I talked to Klim about this and they basically told me to pound sand.

On edit: I just noticed that alot of the damage is on the heels of the boots. How would that be from kicking snow? If Klim would have stepped up even a little bit and offer something I would have been happy. Nope......just offered to sell me a new pair at full retail.

Toe Pro is a brush-on toe protectant for hockey skates. If it's tough enough to resist skate blade cuts, it should be tough enough for kicking the snow off running boards.

Same Boat

Bought brand new Klim boots, first Klim thing I have ever owned. Less than 150 miles on my sled and the bottoms are TORE up pretty good. Really upsets me. Had some Sorel boots that lasted many many years without this problem.

My sister works on a ranch and swears by the Arctic Muck boots..
anyone ever try them for riding? My wife wants some and they are supposed to be super comfortable and rated to -40!?

wow

Nope. Just 5-6 weekends of hard mountain riding. And like i said, the damage is not from kicking snow. REALLY dissappointed in Klim on this one. Im Klim from head to toe right now, but will not be buying any more of their products because of how they have handled this.

those boots are a joke, 2 of my buddies look exactly the same. i guess thats what happens when you ride the klim train...

Wow !! I don't think I've seen such ****ed up boots with so few rides on them. I'm sure glad my Klim Adrenalines are standing up much better than that. Second season on them and soles are barely marked up. deaner, what are you using for running board traction ? Carbide saw blades ??;)

Haha......nope, just stock skidoo running boards. When I bought these I had an 05 RT1000. Ive used different boots on the same running boards and havent had any problems.
