How to hook up a headlight and brake light?

Hi I just picked up my first ever snow bike and need some electrical help. The bike is a 2016 Honda crf 450r. Need some suggestions on how I would be able to hook up a headlight and brake light. The bike doesn't have a battery and the stator doesn't have a lighting coil. Also if anyone has other suggestions on improvements I can do to the bike I'll take any help I can get. Thank you!

Check some of the supermoto forums, they have to add lights to convert their mx bikes for street use and there is a lot more info in those forums on what is needed.

Why would you ever want a brake light? I'll answer that.........you DONT! It just would use up available wattage. Try Cyclops, they prob have the answer for a quality headlight and wiring for that bike.

I believe some places like Oregon require you to have a working headlight and taillight at dusk/ dawn or when visibility is not great for safety reasons.

Led breaklight... 3 w tops... Can imagine that the bike will stall the second u hit the breaks. :eyebrows:

Yeah, getting rear ended sucks too. I have a break light for that reason. There are banjo bolts for the brake line to master cylinder connection that have pressure sensors to give you break light function. look on eBay... They are 15 bucks or less. Add the LED rear light, tap the power off a tiny rechargable battery you can Velcro into the airbox. Recharge it every few rides. Closed system... Easy, cheap, safe.
