how to check motor mounts?

Im just wondering how to check the motor mounts on my 2012 rmk assault. It feels like when i grab the primary and pull up and down there seems to be a bit of movement. How much movement should there be if any. I went through 3 belts in 600 miles. Any other reason i would chew through that many belts, maybe something wrong with the clutches? Thanks in advance for any info.

Im no expert but it definitely sounds like a loose or damaged motor mount to me

Just losen the bolt off and then pry the mount out with something like a screwdriver or pick. They are relatively easy to remove with the right tools no need to pull the engine to check or change mounts on the Pro
