How the hell do you remove the skid? Those damn axles with the bolts on each end so that when you get one off the other just spins. Whats the secret to getting the other bolt off?

Take an impact to it, pops right off

Impact is nice...run the first bolt in and out a couple times to soften the loctite....same with the other side, then you have a better chance of getting them out without spinning the shaft.
Or get a longer bolt of the same thread and put a nut on it. Take out one bolt and put the longer bolt in, tighten jam nut....then remove other bolt, loosen jam nut and you can spin out the long bolt....if that makes any sense.

I use a impact and go back and forth un-tightening and re-tightening. You just have to keep walking each side out together. It's a lot tougher with a ratchet.

loosten both of them at the same time...

yup impact both sides at once. And loosen your track before hand because you won't have room to get the skid out with a tight track

Also use ratchet straps to pull the front and rear arm down.
It'll make it easier to come out

I like the jam nut idea!

I usually run a bolt out... clean all the loctite off... run it back in tight. Run the other side out.... then back to the first bolt . With an impact of course!!

For future reference, I used my impact drill and it was easy as cake!

use a plumbers torch and warm the bolt a little to loosen the locktite then hit it with the impact, works for me
