How the heck? ski loops

how do you get those retainer things out of the ski loops on rev skis? they look like a rivet but I think they just push in but cant get em out for the life of me

Those things are just the GOOFIEST design!! Cheap/easy to install and a PITA to get out. Drill the head off like a rivet (good luck keeping it from spinning) and punch it out, a rivet gun/punch is easiest. I ended up getting pissed and spinning them until they melted the ski....but they came out!! The new ones still fit tight after the plastic cooled off.
Has Doo not heard of bolts?

I need to ship the skis and they dont fit in the slydog box with the loops on
