guidoxpress, how hard was it to put the 09 sway bar in,I have Holtz front end with walkers with a piggyback put on by fabcraft.
SUPER easy if you have the 09 front end already..
the only issue you migt have is the a-arms...if you have the 09 HOLZ a-arms with the center swaybar bracket your good to go...if you have the pre-08 style a-arms that have the old style sway bar brackets on the back. then you will have to order the sway bar clamp kit from ZBROZ for $45 i think...and clamp them to your a-arm and your good then
I was really curious what the 09 swaybar was like, would you recommend it? Is it a different P/N than the stocker?
If so I'll put the 100 lb/in springs back in my shocks and order one.
i really like the new style 09 sway bar...i rode my 900 last year with the old style in it and hated how "stiff" it felt to me...so i removed it, and then got the fox floats...never really looked back...but it was kind sketchy on the trails, but nothing that bothered me again...
but i heard so much good stuff about the new style setup and figured what the hell give it a shot...i only have 1 ride on it right now...and had to turn back cause my wifes sled was having a hell of a time running...(but fixed now ) but i am hoping to get back out beginning of next week...waiting for a fuel filter before i can go again...
but to answer your question...the new 09 sway bar...to me...is WELL WORTH IT..
i got the whole setup from guys on here...they removed them cause they had awesome shocks and didnt need them anyways...so peak around on here and you will get one as well..
i have 1 extra sway bar...but it needs everything else to attach if your interested..for a few $$ and shipping..(cheap)
