How much time and Money to Turbo a Nytro

I am considering getting a Nytro and putting on a turbo. Nytros looking like about 9000-10000. How much for a turbo to be installed? How much wrenching time on the moutain does it take? Is it reliable? I have been two stroke forever. I love the rider forward position. I am a big rider and would love the xtra hps. How many hp is possible while still remaining reliable? I know I could spend a few hours putting everything together from other threads but enlighten me.

Currently on the XP 163. I might need another sled with more horse power.

6-7k for the turbo and parts needed. I would guess if you paid someone install it would be in the 1500 range.
220-240hp is where most of the kits start at with Hp ratings. All of them will be very reliable at this level. Equal to or moree so than your current sled. Once you have your jetting and clutching set, there should be zero time spent wrenching on the sled in the hills.
If you have the money, I guarantee you a huge smile after your first ride.

Sled $9.5k - 10.5k depending on model
MCXpess kit is $6,895 US
Guages at least $200
Clutching and Geering at least 200
Install $1k ish (no head shim)

I may have a blue (no reverse) for sale for under $20k soon, 0 miles. If i decide to sell it :)

Dont forget all the mods you need to do to the chassis to handle the extra power

162 track
rear skid needs alot of work
avid drivers
tunnel extension
drop brackets (if you go 16 wide)
boost gauge

It all adds up....keep this in mind

You got that right!! Power is never cheap!!:( But, you will have a permanent grin after you ride!!:beer;:D:D:D:D:D:D
