i have a brandnew 50mm Turbo Smart Race port BOV..

it came with 2 springs inside, one wide large outter one and a smaller stiffer one in the middle

i know you have to remove some spring tension so it will "flutter" at idle, or just barely be closed, but how much tension is there when the sled isnt on?

i have the BOV in my hand, i can move the cylinder up and down with 2 finger (using only the large outter spring inside), but how easy should the cylidner move? its not "real hard" to move, but it seems pretty stiff to me yet..

should i leave it, replace with lighter spring or???

You should be able to suck it open with your mouth, if not its too stiff. Turbosmart makes a bov that has a spring designed for small engines it is the Pro Port i run these on my kits.
