How much snow on Mt. Baker (I heard 90')?

Just a trivia question. My dad and I were talking the other day and he said there was 90' (feet) up on Mt. Baker. I tried to research it on noaa, but could not verify that.

I did check a ski resort up there and it said around 100" at the base. Long way from 90 feet. But then I saw in the same snow report that they have recieved 55" in the last 5 days. That would mean that they only had 45 inches up there at the begining of last week. I know that can't be true.

Anyway, my buddies and I out here in Idaho are curious if there is any truth to this.

Thanks,
Chris

fwiw, the numbers at the ski resort at the bases are the snow base, not the total snowfall. Right now it is around 150 sum inches about 12.5 feet deep or more.

Snowfall and snow pack are two different things. Wasn't the record in 98-99 about 90 feet of snow fall??? If it was 90 feet of snow pack we would be in the Arctic some where!!! Thats 9 stories tall!!

I think they had 220 inches of snow fall in December.

In the 98' 99' season I think they had over 1100 inches of snowfall..

still is, but it was 1140", I think they took the world record away from Mt. Rainier by a couple of feet.

You want deep snow, washington is where it is at.
