how much oil in the chain case

how much oil does a gen II chain case hold. I just did a drop and roll so i cant use the dip stick

9 OZ. is the service manual spec i have a drop & roll in my 97 rmk and i always put 8 OZ. in that never had any problems i was told that 8 was what it called for but i just checked to be sure before i posted and the manual sayes 9 so i would go with that .

On our sleds with the D&R I have notched the dipstick where the 9oz comes up to.
