A few years back when I was 12 or 13, Me and dad bought an 82 gp292. I didnt know much about sleds back then, and now that I do, im kinda ticked I sold it, would have been a sweet collectible and it might have only needed a little gas in the carbs and a decent cleaning.
I bought it for 25, kept it for maybe 4 months, posted it in the swap sell and sold it for 250. It had the square headlight, perfect seat, hood was in good shape, windshield a little yellowed. It was a little dirty under the hood, but I cleaned it well, track was good.
So, wha was it really worth? The guy didnt even care if I couldnt get him pictures, he drove about 3 hours to pick it up. After I sold it I had multiple calls on it for the next couple months.
