How much boost?

Hey guys,

I have an 11 pro that has a Silber turbo coming. I talked to Justin he said I could run 12psi on 50/50 no problem at elevations of 6-8k feet.

Just wondering what others are running in their pro's and what elevation and how the engine is holding up to it.

I am coming off a boosted apex running 15psi with a head shim, I know the power won't be the same. I just want to have something reliable and want to know a good safe number that I can run 50/50 on.

50/50 of what ? AV... C16 ?? 91 pump fuel ect..

50/50 of pump/race which from my past sled was just 91/Sunoco 110.

I asked the same question to A guy i know. He ran 12psi all year on straight av gas at 5000 to 6500 feet last year with 0 issues

not pro but i ran 12 psi on my 700 iq with about 70/30 pump/race at 4500-6000ft last year.. i also have low comp head

I ran my 11 Pro with a BD Turbo, all year last year 9-13K' on 50/50 Av Gas/Premium at 10-11.5 PSI, with great success. Got the intercooler with dual aux injectors coming, so will be testing 12-14 PSI with 100% av, and weaning it down to whatever it seems to like. Guessing I'll end up somewhere around 75/25. We'll see

I have been running straight 100LL @12psi from 3200-8000 ft. with over 1650kms on it with zero issues.!pistons still look new , not one scuff or sign of det.,reeds still look new ..

On colder days ...not spring riding ... I have had it up to 14 psi above 5000' on 100LL... I dont think I would go above that though.

You should be way good with that mix. Wish I could get non ethanol pump gas!
