How many yamahs do ya think sold sold last year?

???? whats up with the rant. didn't u just spend 20 g on a pro that just blew up in a few hundred miles. not fishing just pointing out.

No. sht happens and not really imo not the sleds fault. I could point out some errors in work i had payed for to be done on the sled that very well could have caused that to happen but wont on here do to the fact it may have just blown up and been one of those things, and i just would not go there on a forum any way. ive been in this game a long time as you have. Break downs sometimes are just part of sledding so no need to cry over that, so nothing to do with this "rant". Yamaha reads this forum and just pointing out there sales could go up if they made some changes and im not the only one that feels this way. Yamaha makes the most reliable sleds with the ability to make the most hp. With those two combined they could dominate in STOCK form , why dont they utilize that? As for the pro Sheldon, Its by far the funnest sled that i have ever owned in stock form or with a turbo!

i know the pro is fun, its a great mountain sled. i think yami is, and has been targeting reliability for many years and they dont care about weight as much (i do though). but its only out west where it seems to be a big topic, back east the riders don't seem as concerned. i also wish yami would try and get in the game for us mountain guys but i dont see it happening

my first sled was a 98 mm700 with benders and man that sled sounded sweet! i have a lot of good memories on that sled, ive sense then hopped to a/c and been on skidoo for a few years now, but ive always had a close eye on yamaha and what they have been doing. Yamaha over built the nytro, case in point, the rear drop brackets! there is alot of steel there. i think if yami went through the sled and replaced alot of steel stuff with alum. and did the skinz front end, alot more people would take yamaha more serious when it came time to buy a sled
