How many use a MotoCross style helmet?

MX with a breathguard and goggles.... and on those cold Canadian days throw on a head sock or duct tape...

I use the mx helmet now. When I was first learning how to ride around age 5-15 my dad bought me a NMFH just to keep me warmer. Now I will only wear the MX helmet with a good pair of goggles.

No duct tape for me ,thanks anyways. I always preferr to ride with mx but reality kicks in pretty quick here in the prairies when you want to ride and its never going above -15c-20c all day. Pretty hard to get air-tight with an mx helmet so guess what......you'll find more modular or full-face lids here most days for sure. Mx is by far the most comfortable but when you ride with out stopping for an hour or more at speed, you gotta have some pretty good protection from the wind or your going home with serious frost bite.

I ride with probably 30 different people throught the season, and cant recall a single non MX helmet. they just DONT worrk for intense riding, but for long cold trail riding, heck yeah I would take one, they arm warm and cozy. the one day I descided to go ride at -20f it SUCKED< and my buddy pulled out the old nfmh, he was warm, but I just didnt much enjoy riding htat day at all just to cold.

I rock a full face cause it was free and I'm too cheap to buy a MX. Rather spend the money on something for the sled.

I would say it is probably 75% motocross around here also... there are a few full face and a few modulars, but not many... the vast majority is Moto-x
