How many RPM's on a stock 09 800?

Can't remember how many R's it's supposed to be pulling stock. First ride this year today was really flat light and couldn't really hold it open long enough to watch the tach but the best I saw was 7850.
Warm deep snow, and new belt.
Just put in M gears (it's a141" CrossFire 800) and Power Claw. Seemed to be missing a bit up top, but could have been the warm deep snow.

Cant remember if it's this sled or my FireCat but I thought I remembered seeing like 8050 before? If so, WTF?

Cat sets them up to run right around 7900ish. with them saying 8000 is optimal performance for stock. Just remember that your stock tack might not be completely accurate. My dealer says they can be off as much as 300 rpms either way.

So 7850 on an uphill pull in deep snow is probably pretty close then? Might see close to 8000 taped on the flats when giving it time to run out?
