How many new Tundra owners??

Anyone bought an 07 or 08 Tundra? Did you switch from Ford or Gm or Dodge?
What do you think?
Looking for opinions from people who have actually owned one, not from people who hate them without ever driving one........

Had mine for about a year now. got the first one in my area and have never looked back. Traded in a F-150 for it. Have been buying Fords every other year for a decade and a half. Zero problems, fit and finish is excellent, brakes are awesome and the power is unbygodbelievable. I don't give a rats arse if is built in Iran, would do it again in a heart beat.

and that is all I have to say about that!:)

You're right, all I found was trash talk from guys who never sat in one, I just want to hear from other owners...my thread, my topic...:)...nice to hear someone else who switched and likes it, sldgy.
I had an 05 Duramax before but that big ol Isuzu diesel just kept breaking down. The new Tundras are designed and built in the US, mine came in from Texas.

Love it!

Wish it came in van form of which I replaced, one ton Chev Quigley 4x4 big block, pulls, brakes, etc. better except the space, got the 07 double cab and 8' bed.

Parking brake needs separate release, and would have gotten column shift if I knew was available, needs overloads for towing.

I can't believe even with the YouTube video at the Ford test ground, that driving one of these trucks wouldn't sell anyone in the market.

Sweet!

What year do you have?

Thx

I've got a 2007. Texas huh, isn't that Bush country. Should I sell?;)

I test drove all the half ton crew cabs before buying, and realy went into the purchase looking for the best all around truck.

Overall I was impressed with the changes in the Toyota, but IMO there is more to a truck than HP. I thought the ride quality of the tundra was Poor compared to some of the others. The price, I thought, was good but I went with the GMC instead. I went with the 6.0 and still get better mileage than the 5.7. I'm sure they will improve the ride quality so in two years, I will look at them all again.
