How many miles can you get on a stock 155 2.6 track?

Hey All - Just wondering what everyone's experience is in terms of mileage on a stock 155 2.6 track. I've got about 1700 miles on my sled. A couple of damaged lugs, but it seems to look okay otherwise, outside of the standard window wear almost everyone seems to have. How many miles do folks typically get out of these tracks? Wondering if it's worth replacing this summer when I do a top end rebuild, or if I'm good to get a lot of miles out of it yet.

600-800 per track for me. Keweenaw peninsula of Michigan is hard on stuff! Im on track #3 on my 16 and switched to a 2.5 camo extreme, sick of throwing lugs on the polaris 2.6!

3000 to 4000 on the old 2" Polaris Series IV edge tracks, just in case somebody was thinking that newer is always better. Liberty engines get 4000 miles as well, before the crank bearings need to be changed.

If the slider wear isn't terrible on it yet/the internal rods aren't broken.... I would just clip it and keep running

That is terrible mileage for a track. What are you riding on? Do you do a lot of high speed riding?

1200 miles on my 163. Few torn paddles I've glued back together, not clipped, wearing bad.

Will plan on clipping it here soon. I try to let off quickly if I feel traction surges (Tree's rocks), or if I know I'm going over something hard.

Its holding up pretty well all and all! Would love to get new drivers....

On the track issue: Are the Challenger extreme 2,5" tracks (155/163) with 2,86" pitch few and far between if a guy would like to switch? And not fork out for a brand new one..
