how many miles a season do you ride

NOT NEARLY ENOUGH!! Don't laugh, but my sled is an 03 RMK 800 & I only have 650 miles on it. My wife's only has 350! Things SLOW down quite a bit when you have twins.

About 2000 miles. I ride every single weekend and a lot of times I will sneak off during the weekdays to get a few hours in. All in all I mostly mess around so not all of the miles are mountain miles but most are. This year I will spend more time messing around jumping, riding trails and messing around at the track. I also spend a lot of time rideing alone so I log a lot of miles not having to worry about some one taking pics of me doing this or that or having to get other people unstuck. But that also transfers in to the fact that I don’t take nearly as many risks such as big open climbs or huge jumps. I did walk out of the mountains 3 times last year and totaled 2 sleds so id say that most of those 2000 miles were well spent ( and spread over 3-5 sleds)

just over 2k last year with most of them Mt. miles with an average of about 60 miles a trip. put 7k in miles on my truck doing it and hope to do more this year.

I think I got about 700 last year, but I missed 2 weeks in december and was done by the middle of march because of mechanical isssues. Rarely more than 20 miles from the truck.

Probably average 800-1000 miles per year at 50-60 miles per ride.(mostly boondocking) Couple of years ago with good snow we got in close to 1500 miles. It's 60 miles to trailer to the mountains then off to the boonies. Throw in a trip to Cooke or Big Sky to round it out.

476 miles on the sled last year. probably 10,000 on the trucks getting across nebraska.

I most years i put on between 1700-2000 miles but last year we had go snow conditions till late spring, so i got on around 2700 miles. I ride my snowmobile everywhere, no reason to drive a vehicle in the winter. I ride to school, work, to the ice house and we do go on a couple trips every year.

roughly 1000 per year but last year was 1600. first ride of the year was the day after thanksgiving and the last ride of the year was memorial weekend. usually between 35-60 miles per ride, all in the mountains.

Average 1000-1200. Last year 1600, tore a ligament in my wrist. Looks like many less miles this winter:face-icon-small-fro. pins will come out Dec 17th, then 1 month physical therapy.

Mountain riding in Montana around 1000. Have had as many as 1500.

Far cry from my riding back east. Once went on a trip through Quebec and did a little over 1000 miles in 5 days. Personal high was 276 miles in a day.

Had a buddy that used to average 5000 to 6000 a season.

Its definitely not about quantity and more about quality. I would trade 200 mountain miles for 2000 trail miles any day.

I have been averaging about 600 miles per year the last several years. Live in MN and have put no miles on here in over 5 years.

When I use to ride with my wife only we would put on 1500 miles now I got some good riding partners we only put on 700-800 miles a year lots of time in the trees.

Same story here, the trail rides with the wife from the cabin to dinner and back were good, before kids. Now she's more into staying with the kids and I ride the steep and deep with friends, Both are good.
