So about how many miles do you ride a year? Mountain ? trail?
Im just trying feel worse than I do already for not riding near enough.

Just as everyone else will think, not nearly enough. It will probably be even less this year as I can no longer ride weekdays. A good hard day of riding gets about 40 miles considering we ride trails as little as possible. I am sure the trail riders can log a lot more hours....just not near as much fun  So I will be happy if I can get in close to 800 miles this season. Hoping to get in a few really good weekend trips this year!

I am a flat lander. Last year I estimate I road about 2300. I cant remember how many miles I put on my old sled but I put 1500 on my new sled in a month.

Question for the mountain guys.. How far do you actually get from your truck?? 20 miles or so??

I suppose if I had speedometer I could tell you. Do the miles really count when your track is spinning really fast in deep powder and you barely moving?

Doesn't matter anyway, no matter how many miles i put on its never enough.

as the crow flies? Or distance down the "trail"? I would doubt that I am ever more than 20 miles from the truck on a regular basis. Much closer if we are talking straight line distance. I have been much father away than that, but only on days with lots of trail riding.

Just mountain rideing , 60-80 mile a day, doubt that I am over 20 miles from the truck...as a crow flys. About 2500 miles a year between three differant sleds. Hardly trailer more than 20 miles to get there. WISH IT WOULD SNOW:eek: Dino

idk how many miles. This will be my first year with a speedo. We dont have to drive more than 10 miles to the parking lot. As the crow flies i dont think i'll get 20 miles from the truck. I avoid the trail as much as i can

In the central colorado mtns. 1450 this last year and mostly 15-20 miles from the truck. Went up to Alpine Wy this last year during the Jackson Hill climbs. Went out to cottonwood pass sunday and enjoyed some road riding. Let it snow, Jesus saves, moses invests.

abt 200 miles in snowy range for three days. abt 100 in iowa. thats 300 miles in one season.

Probably about 500 miles or so a year.

(1) trip out west for a week

Beating around in Minnesota here and there......

Not much time to ride at the moment:mad:

Last year was good but I go by days because I rode 5 different sleds so miles would be a guess but I say about 70 and my wife tells me I rode more like 80+. I would say 30% trails and 70% Backcounty mountains.

between 200 and 500 dont get much snow around here enuf for about two weeks of riden

i think i get around 1000 the last 2 winters, thats 20 miles on the trail to the back of where we ride, about 12 to the begining of the playng, were lucky if you get 60 miles a full tank on any of our sleds, plenty of DEEP!!!
