How many guys Run 14.0:1 A/F at 18 psi boost

This is related to the Jannetty Manifold Thread.

This guy has cracked 3, alpine headers that I know of, which
I believe is related to running his motor at 14.0:1. at 18 psi boost.

He purchased my manifold and claims a loss of 60-100 hp with no dyno sheets to back up this wild claim.

He claims he makes full power at 14.0:1 and now that he installed my manifold he claims he lost power but will not try richening the mixture to 12.0-12.5:1 where boosted engines make full power.

But My Manifold is no good.

Will you guys try and educate this guy he has been nothing but Unreasonable to deal with.

Why should he provide dyno sheets for back up when you won't? tisk tisk

Take the header back, in the long run it will save you because a happy customer will tell a few people but a unhappy customer will tell everyone that will listen! sometimes certian parts don't work for certian people call it a wash and sell it to someone who will appreciate it, as much as a guy hates to admit it, the customer is always right!

Just give the man his money back. I understand the principle of it, but come on. He does not think you product works, you know your product works, so just get him out of your hair and refund the man.

This is on two forums now and does not look good for your business. People will shy away from buying your stuff. Stand up and take your product back.

Seen 16:1 for period......then I found my sendor was toast.

14 to 1 is stupid any way you turn it (it is a theoretical optimum mixture -- most engines can not atomize fuel well enough to pull max power at that setting anyway) besides the fact that you run hot as hell ----- Like Climbmax said your sensor is toast or something is else is screwed up --- to just run at 14 to 1 burning out headers without starting to check into your set up is not very smart . Check your sensor and the whole fuel set up or have someone who knows what they are doing do it for you. If you would take that litle bit of effort it would be more productive than the mud-slinging campain you are on.
However I am always into a good race how about the winner takes home both sleds.
