Never know, the weather could turn and change plans. I dont go on trips west (live in A.K.) but do make out of town trips to Haines on occasion. The last one turned into severe winds and -15 below during the day. Most everyone on the trip got frostbit of some sort. There were 17 of us and most of us rode everyday, but kind of sucked to say the least.
If you have time, plan on about 6 riding days, maybe take one day off in the middle if your too beat up to go on, or just ride easy. Just remember if you only plan a 3-4 day trip and the weather turns, half or more of the trip could be a waste. Our last was 6 days of brutal weather and crap snow.
