How long does a chain last on turbo's

change it at least every year,I got caught in the back country and now i carry a spare,snap ring pliers,and misc. tools,and i check my tension after every ride,cheap insurance,and i use to change it every year when i ran t-cats

Thats because of cats chain tentioner or lack thereof just swings back and forth and SNAP pulled out a few T-cats with this problem...BTW still running the stock chain with 2700 klms and looks great with no(or very little side play)

How many link plate (how wide) is that stock chain on a Nytro, I can't seem to find it any where?

looking in the shop manual is 13 links wide 68 pins long
